Pasjonuje się kulturą XVIII i XIX wieku, neogotykiem, literaturą Edgara Allana Poe, malarstwem Williama Blake’a , Francisco Goya, Caspara Davida Friedricha czy Johna Atkinsona Grimshaw. Nieocenioną inspiracją są dla artystki sny jak również miejsca odosobnione, ukryte – takie w których czas się zatrzymał.

Artystka nigdy nie nadaje tytułów swoim pracom. Pragnie aby to widz, zatrzymując się przed obrazem uruchomił swoją wyobraźnię przenosząc się w jego świat. Z jej obrazów często wyłania się świat z pogranicza jawy i snu, często dosyć mroczny, ukryty przed wzrokiem, w którym czuć atmosferę pustki, ciszy i tajemnicy.

Świat realny przenika się ze światem magii, symboli, zabobonów, przepowiedni, światem kobiet żyjących poza społecznością, często uznawanych za czarownice. Artystka inspiracji szuka w mitologii nordyckiej, celtyckiej,kulturach krajów bałtyckich jak również w myzyce.

Ur. 1974 w Mławie, ukończyła z wyróżnieniem Państwowe Liceum Sztuk Plastyczne w Gdyni na kierunku Formy Użytkowe a następnie studia na wydziale grafiki na Uniwersytecie Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu otrzymując tytuł magistra sztuki- artysty grafika.

Zajmuje się projektowaniem graficznym, ilustracją, malarstwem jak również edukacją. Przez wiele lat współpracowała z wydawnictwem Mac Edukacja. Od 2008 roku prowadzi autorską pracownię sztuk plastycznych dla dzieci i młodzieży w Mławie. Należy do grupy artystów działajacą pod nazwą “Fuzja wyobraźni”.

W roku 2022 trzymała drugą nagrodę w konkursie organizowanym przez Fundację Art Vue w Brukseli. W 2023 roku jej dwie prace zostały wyróżnione w miedzynarodowym konkursie w Brukseli.

She is passionate about the culture of the 18th and 19th centuries, neo-Gothic, the literature of Edgar Allan Poe, the paintings of William Blake, Francisco Goya, Caspar David Friedrich and John Atkinson Grimshaw. Dreams as well as isolated, hidden places – where time has stopped – are invaluable inspiration for the artist.

The artist never gives titles to her works. She wants the viewer, stopping in front of the painting, to trigger their imagination, moving into its world. A world on the border between reality and dream emerges from her paintings, often quite dark, hidden from view, in which you can feel the atmosphere of emptiness, silence and mystery.

The real world interpenetrates with the world of magic, symbols, superstitions, prophecies, the world of women living outside the community, often considered witches. The artist also seeks inspiration in Nordic and Celtic mythology, the cultures of the Baltic countries and music.

Born in 1974 in Mława, she graduated with distinction from the State High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia in the field of Utility Forms and then studied at the Faculty of Graphics at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, receiving a master’s degree in art – graphic artist.

She deals with graphic design, illustration, painting as well as education. For many years she cooperated with the publishing house Mac Edukacja. Since 2008 she has been running her own fine arts studio for children and youth in Mława.

She belongs to a group of artists operating under the name “Fuzja wyobraźni”. In 2022 she held the second prize in a competition organized by the Art Vue Foundation in Brussels. In 2023 two of her works were distinguished in an international competition in Brussels.
